Cadomalo was created by a midwife who has spent her life around children and families — and never stopped being amazed by how they learn.
Why a midwife writes children’s books
I became a midwife because of my love for children and families. Over the years my curiosity grew beyond the first moments of life — into the many ways children learn, imagine and discover the world.
Children ask the best questions: why do I breathe? where does my food go? what is inside my head? Cadomalo books answer them simply and accurately, with stories and pages to color, so the answer stays with them.
Our books are multilingual because so many families are. A child should be able to hear the same story in their parents’ language, their school’s language and the language of the grandparents they call on Sundays.
